The wife and I stopped in for a quick meal, and everything was very good. I had chicken and dumplings, and the wife had chicken breast with Apple chutney. All the vegetables were hot the service was good and it was very reasonable. I will have to tell you for $25 including tip I have spent a lot more money and gotten a lot worse meals. As far as i'm concern Cracker Barrel lived up to its name did a great job

This summer, we have made stops in several Cracker Barrels, and until this morning, we have been impressed with the service and food. Unfortunately, that spree came to an end today. Without question, we just had the worst experience we've ever had at a Cracker Barrel. First, the coffee had a strange aftertaste. We chalked that up to local water. The our food arrived. My over medium eggs were overdone. My daughter's hush puppies were overdone. Our scrambled eggs looked like flat styrofoam. Worst of all, the orange slices looked like they had already been sucked on and there was a hair on one. The rest of the food was not appetizing at all. It was hard to get the image of the hair garnished orange slice that looked like someone had already had it in their mouth. Our server was very nice (the only saving grace of this otherwise disappointing experience). She apologized and informed the manager who came over and said the oranges were crushed (or something) by the orange slicer and offered her empathy on the flat scrambled eggs. She had some improved scrambled eggs sent out. She didn't seem too concerned about the hair on the orange. We will not return this location. Thankfully this was the only bad Cracker Barrel experience we've ever had. There are many more to visit.

First time eating at Cracker Barrel and it exceeded my expectations for this place. I got the ribs which comes with two sides and let me tell you their is a long list of sides to get!! I got the deep fried okra and Mac n' cheese. Make sure to get the deep fried okra as one of your sides you won't regret it! The Mac n cheese was watery. The ribs were fall off the bone with a nice tangy sauce. One of my friends got the the chicken fried steak smothered with white gravy with mash potatoes and steak fries. I took a bite of his chicken fried steak and it was seasoned well and paired nicely with the white gravy. Another friend got the shrimp platter which comes with hush puppies and any 3 sides. My friend chose Mac and cheese, mash potatoes with white gravy and steak fries. I took a bite of her food as well and the shrimp was mediocre at best, but the real winner here is the hush puppies. The hush puppies are balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and saltiness. Overall dining at Cracker Barrel was a pleasant dining experience. I also have to say that the servers and all workers in the store or the restaurant made my friends and family feel welcomed and always had a smile on their face.

I'm a sucker for fake, heavily processed food on a Sunday morning, that's pretty much all I have to say. This location is just like all the others. Mobbed, decent service, plastic food.

My wife and I both ordered the Grilled Steak Salad (8oz USDA Choice Top Sirloin grilled to order and sliced over fresh hand-torn greens, wedged tomato, sliced red onion and crumbled blue cheese) and let me tell you, it was absolutely fantastic and under $10!! My son wanted pancakes at 9:30pm --no problem, they serve breakfast all day. We were pleasantly surprised when they served 100% pure maple syrup in a small warmed bottle with my son's huge buttermilk pancakes --bonus. Overall our meal superb.

Poor deplorable service. Our food was late and served cold. Manager didn't apologize for staff even nor make it better. Worst experience ever despite having been to many CBs. Poor mgmt and do not recommend.

Awesome service! They made sure my coffee cup was always full. Plate was a little skimpy compared to other locations I've visited though. Still happy cz of all that coffee! :)

I haven't been to Cracker Barrel in years and on the way home from Tampa, we decided to stop. My boyfriend has never been to Cracker Barrel and I just knew he would love the southern cookin! Ambiance- home-y and cozy, just how I like it. Clean and cute, love the shop and checkers to digest after. Food- very good! I had the fried chicken salad and I love that the chicken tenders were already cut for me. I hate having a chopped salad with tenders just thrown on top. The salad was nicely served and delicious. Service- pretty good. I got my water refills noticed when I needed it. (That's really all I ever want). Other than that, server was very straight to the point which I don't mind because I don't like to be bothered too much but she was there when I needed her. Why four stars and not 5 you ask? Only because since I have not been to Cracker Barrel in forever, my boyfriend and I didn't know we pay at the cashier in the store. We had the card and cash on top of the receipt and I know servers saw it and walked by it including ours. 15 minutes later when we realized our server saw it and walked away, It came to my realization, damn! We probably pay up front! I just wish SOMEONE, ANYONE would have told us since they saw us sitting there. So people, you pay up front! Lol

I've been to a lot of Cracker Barrels, but this was the best food I've had at one. Maybe I was just starving, or maybe it was the two beers I had as appetizers at 10am, but when I dug into the Smokehouse Breakfast a half hour later my mind went to a very happy place usually reserved for true love, good music, or winning. Actually, I was informed that my meal was technically the Old Timer's Breakfast because I added a side of regular hashbrowns, but whatever. That's the glory of Cracker Barrel according to my friend who accompanied me, who said that her favorite thing about the whole chain was that she could get whatever she wanted however she wanted it and nobody would get mad. I'm more impressed with how the company is able to run a restaurant and retail chain simultaneously; imagine the dichotomy at corporate HQ! Anyway, as you know I review the experience, specifically as a dating atmosphere, and I was there with a good friend who happens to be a girl. I insisted on paying for our meals, and the cashier agreed that it was my duty as a man. All gender stereotypes aside, my friend and I cracked up about it since the cashier probably thought that it was our first date given the awkwardness of paying the check. So this place might not get 5 stars for the dating experience, but this time the food (taste, quantity, and price - 2 meals was like $16) actually gets rated because that's what got me onto Yelp today. Also, the service was very friendly and fast.

Hungry, we stopped here on the way back to Fort Myers from Sarasota. I had the sampler - a large meal at a low price. You guessed it - I ate it all. However, it wasn't very good, I'm afraid. Be sure to avoid the dumplings. The fine service & low prices lift this place to two stars...

On our way to Sanibel last night, our friends and us stopped at the Cracker Barrel for a much needed dinner. I was about 915pm and we were all starving. We were all undecided between having dinner or having breakfast food...oh boy the choices life brings us...(lol) So, hubby and our friends decided on Friday fish fry, which my friend said tasted as good as it looked and it looked gooooood....hubby went for the meatloaf which was very good too and the other hubby went for the chicken with dumplings and his side dishes, which looked and tasted good, according to him but I would had never ordered it. Our waiter was JAMES and he was OUTSTANDING!!! he was extremely nice, very attentive without being overwhelming and happy to answer all our questions and give me suggestions on wether I was going with dinner or breakfast. I, of course, went for pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage links well cooked....mmmmmmmmm, it's all I have to say. BUT, before the food arrived, James was awesome enough that he brought us a delicious, warm and wonderful plate of biscuits and cornbread.....WOW!!! straight to my heart. We had a very good dinner with wonderful service and off we went for the rest of our drive with VERY happy tummies.

Good food and most of the time the wait staff is attentive. It's like every other cracker barrel.

Cracker Barrel was one of my favorite places to eat when I lived in MI and I would drive 45 min. to get there but it was worth it! I was in Fort Myers visiting my mom recently and we ate at this Cracker Barrel twice and the food was pretty crappy both times! I was very surprised to be honest. I got the sampler dinner both times and the only thing that was good was the country ham. Service was pretty good though and we had about 8 people.
